Ah, that's a shame. But at least Anand played with Suckers at Glasslands, which I think was fun as well. I love his cover of You Oughta Know.

It makes me wonder if this Citizen Dick project was just a one time thing. It'd be amazing if they did it again, preferably with the rest of Yeasayer.

Would be great if they joined forces again ! Hmmm... how does "Sucksayer" sound for a band name ?

Hmmm... how does "Sucksayer" sound for a band name ? :P lol - nice! :P :D ...fwiw, I've added a link at the bottom of this tumblr post to Amrit Singh's later Stereogum article about the show - it has some interesting background info - of which I, at least, wasn't aware - re: the "Citizen Dick" band name. As a long-ago frequenter of shows at the old Knitting Factory, CBGB, some tiny dive near NYU with broken bottles on the floor which I don't remember the name of, etc., in Manhattan, I also found the comments on the shifting geography of the area's musical "scene" (or "not a scene" in YsR's POV ;) ) of some interest. Wonder where the action will wander next...?

Woah! Far from worrisome, it's brilliant!
