I'm pretty sure they're playing a bunch of festivals in Australia in February.

Thanks guys for the heads up! I found out about Laneway just after I posted here and I got waaaaay too excited to post here again, haha.
I'm a few hours north of Sydney, so it's always a bit tricky for me to travel to good gigs and festivals, kinda why I wasn't able to go see them in July, but I really really hope I'll be able to make it to this one! Here's hoping... :) Also sucks being a poor student.
EDIT: Oh dear, I really should read my posts and make sure they actually make sense before I send them out. Silly.

I'll definitely be seeing them in Glasgow in exactly two weeks. How was the show? :)

Ah, sorry, I meant to post earlier but I forgot! It was absolutely amazing. I was lucky enough to have been staying in a flat right across the street from ABC (the venue where the show was to take place) so when I woke up on Sunday, the first thing I saw was this, which already made me excited. The show itself was, as I said, brilliant. I was in the second row, right behind a really short girl so I had a perfect view. I think the setlist was basically the same as for the rest of their European tour, meaning everything from Odd Blood except for Love Me Girl and I Remember + Wait for the Summer, Sunrise, 2080, Red Cave & Tightrope. I loved how Red Cave sounded live & was so happy that they played it this time. I'd also not heard Strange Reunions before and it sounded so beautiful live. Bommel was there too, of course. Chris actually carried it onto the stage, introduced him and after the show was like "come kiss Bommel after the show", haha. I also met and got to hang out for a bit with Chris and Ira afterwards and they were such nice people! Chris even said that he'd put me on the guest list for the Warsaw show & signed my CD.

It was absolutely amazing. Was hoping someone else would jump in here, but oh well... ;) ...NICE! :D Thanks for the write-up! Love the "anticipation" pic from the morning - and very cool that you got to hang out with Chris and Ira for a bit - sweet! :) Please keep us posted on the Warsaw show - looks like that's the last stop on the European tour...

Yeah, it's been kind of slow. It's a shame that more people are not joining, especially considering how many Yeasayer fans are there. Yes, definitely! It's already tomorrow and yes, it's the last gig of the European tour. I'm so excited, even though I saw them just a week ago (strangely, it feels like much longer, though). Anyway, yesterday they played in Berlin and I think AnnHelen was supposed to be there? Hopefully we'll get her review when she's back.

Justyna, that's so cool you got to hear Red Cave live, and that you enjoyed the show, and that you met Chris and Ira. I believe I can imagine how excited you are about tomorrow. And congratulations on winning the tickets!

I thought nothing would top my Glasgow experience but yesterday, wow, what a great night! They were brilliant live (I've heard complaints about the sound but personally, I didn't notice?), the crowd was great and enthusiastic (which I couldn't really tell about the one in Glasgow) and I was all hot after only the second song and sweaty. The setlist was the same but that was to be expected. I won't lie, though, I kind of hoped that they would maybe play something special, with it being their last European gig this year and with us being 'the crazy Polish people'. But they brought flowers and Chris were throwing them to the crowd by the end of the show and I got two but I left them somewhere in the club. I kind of wished I'd caught Ahmed's drumstick but oh well, flowers were nice too.
I got to meet and hang out with all five of them this time and, I know I said it before but, they are such nice and fun people. And Chris actually immediately recognized me. Such a fun fun fun night. Hopefully they'll come back to Europe soon.
And how about you, Olga? How did you enjoy the show?

I think it was phenomenal. I loved every minute of it. And I didn't notice any sound issues either. I have to admit I also hoped that they would play something special. But I'm far from complaining, I got to hear Red Cave live.
Cool that Chris recognized you, and that you managed to catch some flowers (that's something I didn't succeed at).

Looks/sounds like it was a fun show! :) Anybody know what the story is behind the... er... annotated setlists ;) that keep showing up in pics from that venue? (Pics below are linked to where they were posted, for context.)

Berlin was great! Same setlist as the rest of the European shows, but hadn't heard "Red Cave" or "Strange Reunions" live before, so no complaining =) Was at first on third row or so, but after Suckers finished everyone in front of me left, so ended up in front. Loved the new lightings and Anand sings better every time I hear them! Chris also looks more comfortable on stage now =) But where were the Germans?! I was surrounded by a bunch of (screaming) Americans, from Pennsylvania at one side, and New Jersey on the other. A Swedish couple, 4 British guys and 1 Italian. Finally got my hands on a Yeasayer t-shirt as well, very pleased about that =D Pictures at INDIeREKTE, though you've probably seen them on aaasayer already =) Impossible to take good pictures with a bad camera, with that much light action going on...! So, how long do we have to wait for them to come to Europe again? Oh, and almost forgot to mention. sinkane sent me a birthday wish-DM on Twitter: "Happy belated birthday from all of us in Yeasayer!!" Almost fell off my chair when I saw it.

I was wondering what was the story behind the setlists in Poland too. "Ira, I'm pregnant" is especially intriguing, haha. But apparently they were written by their techies?
And AnnHelen, glad to hear the Berlin show was so good too! Which t-shirt did you get? I got the jumper in Glasgow and it's super comfy. It was a lot cheaper in Warsaw, though. Oh well.
Hopefully, they'll come to Europe soon. I'm still in this post-gig bubble and I really can't wait to see them again. By the way, did they have some long break from touring sometime between All Hour Cymbals and ODD BLOOD?
And that's so cool and nice of Ahmed (that's Ahmed, right?) to send you birthday wishes! I know it would definitely make my day.

I got the grey t-shirt with Odd Blood written in pink and Yeasayer in white, on top. Did wear it to work and several of my co-workers complimented it without realizing it was a band t-shirt =) (I also bought the white one with Yeasayer written in red match-sticks, in a bigger size for sleeping in (or persuading my boyfriend to wear ;o) ).
I actually can't remember if there was a break between albums - though there probably were as I fell off the radar for some time. They were in Norway twice during fall last year (I think?). At least they (Chris and Ira) came here in November / December to promote Odd Blood and to do a DJ set, which I missed.
Sinkane = Ahmed. My thoughts were woow, fan communication! Yaay! =P

But apparently they were written by their techies? Update: yep, it was a tech, being silly for their last show. :)
